Perks and Mass-mutations!


Hey again y'all, I'm back with a new  pretty major update! Reworking the active ability recharge system and adding a new enemy, passive perks, and mass-mutation events!

Main changes

Added a pop-up asking the player if they wanna give feedback before they quit that links to the feedback survey

Reworked active abilities (again)

Reworked active ability cooldown system again but to now charge on damage instead of kill

Adjusted charge requirements for abilities: Decoy from 20 to 90,  Ghost from 2 to 15, Invulnerability from 15 to 70, Grappling Hook from 5 to 20, Sentry from 10 to 45, and Stun Grenade from 8 to 20

Charge amount is still halved on stage 3, but is now also halved when the enemy being shot at is stunned by a Stun Grenade

New Enemy: Spreadspitter

Is pretty much just a shotgun variant of the regular Spitter ._."

Added the Spreadspitter, Echoer, and Angler to some waves in wave mode

Updated tutorial to include new mechanics

Passive perks!

Passive perks work kind of like active abilities except they're well, passive. You can only have 2 equipped at a time. I've added 3 perks with this update:

Thorns

Costs $40 and deals double the damage taken by enemies back at the enemy (only works against melee attacks)

Tenacity

Costs $150 and activates upon taking a fatal blow. Sets health to a minimum of 0.1 and goes on cooldown for 1 minute

Hearty

Costs $75 and causes health pickups to give an additional +50% health

Mass-mutation events!

This update ain't just all sunshine and rainbows for the player, I'm afraid. Zombies will now suddenly have mass-mutations that affect all incoming enemies. These will trigger on certain waves in wave mode and lasts till the end of the wave. The effect is random however. In endless mode one will trigger every 60-90 seconds (70-110 on Parking Cellar) randomly, lasting 30 seconds. I've added 4 simple mutations to start off with:

Infested!

Enemies spawn 1 parasite on death that doesn't give any points on death

Damage boost!

Enemies are damageboosted and not just for 5 seconds, but instead till they die

Speed boost!

Enemies are speedboosted and not just for 5 seconds, but instead till they die

Out with a bang!

Enemies will explode on death (landmine explosion) (also excludes infested normals)

Bug fixes

Fixed the tutorial breaking when speedrun timer is enabled

Did some other stuff I prob forgor ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
